Powerful quiet and reliable
Be Quiet is a German brand that offers high quality computer products. They design their cases, fans, and power supplies to be quiet so when building a computer system it remains as silent as possible. This power supply is extremely quiet when running and comes with plenty of cables and accessories and has more than enough power for the most demanding computer build. I have used this power supply and a be quiet case and my system is extremely quiet when operating.

High Performance And Quality At Near Silence Operation
The Pure Power 13 M 850W is a high performance, high quality power supply that has a Cybenetics efficiency rating of platinum (90%+) and operates near silence with a noise level of 10 dBA. I sometimes forget that my computer is already turned on because this power supply is so quiet. Not only that, but the product is also backed by a 10 year manufacturer warranty.One thing to note however is that the 12V-2×6 (12VHPWR) cable is just a little under 600mm in length so if you’re using a case that has the power supply housing located on top of the case, the cable may not be long enough to connect to your graphics card. If the power supply housing is located on the bottom of the case then you should be fine. The 12V-2×6 cable is also stiff closer to the end connection points to prevent aggressive bending of the cable so if you have a compact/small case you may want to seek out those 90-degree 12V-2×6 adapters or use a 2×8-pin PCIe to 12VHPWR 12-pin power adapter cable which was probably included with your graphics card.

Nice PSU. Unfortunately, I had to buy something else because the PCIe cables are not long enough. I thought it was simpler to buy another PSU than replace the case, which I suspect might be the culprit! š

quiet. cables a bit short (update: fan is failing)
5/5 because I don’t care the cables are short. I knew that before buying. But it probably matters to some people. If you have a WINDOWED case this is probably not for you.QUIET. Fan alway spins but it’s not even audible at roughly half load (around 425 Watts).UPDATE: fan started making a vibrating noise at all times

Be sure you have the space & don’t mind the tangle
I made the mistake of ordering the non-modular version of this first. After all, that’s how all power supplies used to be, and it was somewhat cheaper.Unfortunately, there are now so many kinds of power connectorsāall of which must be connected to a PSU like thisāyou need considerable space to fit everything into the back of a case. It was space my case didn’t have.So I returned it, spent the extra $30 or so, and got this elegant modular version, which lets you connect only the cables you need. What a difference!The PSU itself is smooth and quiet, as you’d expect with this company’s excellent reputation.If you have lots of room behind the scenes and don’t care so much about a neat, tidy layout, this PSU will probably be fine for you. Otherwise, go modular, is my advice.
